Basic grooming is essential for a happy dog and their human. A regular visit to the groomer can also help keep your pet healthy and allow a trained eye to alert you to subtle physical or behavioral problems that may require further attention.
All of our members who stay overnight will enjoy day care -6:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays. Dogs will be let out twice on Saturdays and four times on Sundays. Pick up times on Sunday are 9am and 6pm by appointment.
Although doggie day care is not a substitute for training, sending your canine family member to KCK for doggie day care may enable them to exhibit better behavior because he or she is well exercised and socially stimulated.
Dogs are social creatures and instead of spending all day in a crate or on a couch, they can spend the day running and playing with other dogs as well as knowledgeable dog-loving people. By the time evening comes, chances are your dog will be content just “hanging out” with you. The undesirable behaviors that he or she exhibits to capture your attention or to expel unused energy can become a thing of the past.
Every dog is a product of its environment and without communications skills between the dog and its family the environment and the dog can become unstable. Learning the basic skills it takes to communicate with your dog will help develop healthy habits and manners for a happy and stress-free home environment.
Any successful training program-group style, one on one, or specialized training-involves both the dog and the owner. Considering that each dog and its family are different, KCK offers a dog-training program utilizing a custom balance of professional and sensible training techniques.
